12 Perth Fitness classes to try this summer in 2016

Fitness doesn’t HAVE to be about sweating and making gainz, let’s be honest, I am quite happy to leisurely stroll with the dogs and take a thousand photos (like below) and say that was “my 20 minutes for today”. That being said, I do love to really feel the burn, it’s all about balance…
So I thought it was time to give you a bit of an insight into some brand new (or not so brand new) fitness classes or events that happen in Perth. They are GREAT for Summer, amazing to catch up with friends at, and are a range of High intensity to low impact fitness levels.
The Jungle Body – KONGA

A hybrid dance class (the hip hop version of Zumba), with just 4 simple moves per track you will work your butt, thighs, arms, tummy – basically…everything, and have fun while doing it! Dance makes you smile, and you won’t even know it’s “Working out”.
WASUP – Stand Up Paddle Boarding @ Palm Beach
Cost: $25 per hire per hour or $90 for a lesson
Location: 129 Esplanade, Rockingham Beach
If you haven’t already tried it, then please do! It’s an amazing balance excercise but also REALLY easy once you get the hang of it. Did I mention the peace and quiet, the serenity, the dolphins and sea life you will glide past? Its the perfect Summer water sport for 2016!
Bounce Inc – Bounce Fit

A POP UP WATER PARK!!! Not exactly “conventional” fitness but climb up and down those inflatable water slides all day and you’ll have a butt so hard you can crack a walnut with!

Rollerzone is WA’s largest Roller skating, and Blading Rink located in Malaga. Rollerzone is a family owned and operated business and is dedicated to providing a safe and family friendly skating facility.

Bubble Soccer is a new sport; physically demanding, exciting and laugh out loud fun. It involves being strapped into a zorb ball and running around playing a full contact game of soccer.A great team sport with friends or co-workers for Team Building.

Perth Wake Park is the only cable wakeboard park in Western Australia. The park offers a range of features including a full size main cable, a beginner specific cable, a step up pool for advanced riders, a café, pro shop and hire shop.
There’s no excuse to get out, have fun in the summer time and get fit while doing so, all of these suggestions are of my own BUT all use muscles, make you move, and make you laugh – because there’s no point cooping yourself up inside with SO MANY THINGS TO DO IN PERTH!!!! What will you try first?
