I love men! Bold statement right? I have MANY men in my life, and they are all very special and important to me, and I am sure you are exactly the same and that’s why I support #MOVEMBER. Did you know that on average, 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85?

I do NOT like these odds, in fact I find them quite upsetting because when I think about it, that’s basically half of the men I know and love! HALF!!! Our fathers, brothers, grandfathers, uncles, sons and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about, so now is MY time to make my voice be heard! #MOVEMBER is my way of not only raising awareness for such a worthy cause but also promoting a healthy lifestyle to the boys that I so desperately want to be cancer-free! (Coz…cancer SUCKS!!!)

As you all know, #MOVEMBER is about growing a mo, about 5 years ago I decided I wanted to be a #MOSISTA and promote the cause as much as I could, it’s really difficult growing a mo when you are a girl, let alone a pasty white gal with blonde hair! It just doesn’t work. I had a few options, one being tinting my mo to a darker colour and repping it for a month, pretty ballsy right? However even then you would have barely been able to see such a small amount of hair. So the challenge was set, to continue to raise awareness every day in the month of November and on the very last day, endure some pain and get a ‘mo’ tattoo!

This year is a little different, I only have so many fingers for moustache’s…in 2016 I want you all to GET ACTIVE FOR MEN’S HEALTH! Let’s box cancer in the face and get fit and healthy so that we can ALL help our lifestyles along by living every single day to the fullest and being well enough to continue to do so – we never know what will be around the corner, so I know I want to be healthy enough to be the best person I can be!
