5 ingredient flourless banana bread

When that sweet tooth craving hits me at 7pm after dinner, I have a few go-to desserts that I make within a few minutes, this, is one of them! It’s a healthier version so you don’t get the guilts…




  • 3 old mashed bananas (make sure they are really over ripe) and 1 just ripe banana for garnishing
  • 2 cups of oatmeal (blitzed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup (or honey/other organic sweeteners)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda


  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees, lightly grease a loaf pan with coconut oil
  • Mash your banana’s and add in eggs, maple syrup and baking soda
  • Blitz the dry oatmeal then add to the wet mix
  • Pour into loaf tin then cut another banana in half and place on top of mixture for garnishing (It also adds moisture to your bread)
  • Bake for about 25 minutes (check with a toothpick to see if cooked through) I sometimes keep it baking for 30 minutes depending on your oven
  • Serve warm with a little bit of butter on top
